The five slots that turn a vague prompt into a reliable one.
The five slots
Nearly every production prompt has five slots, in this order:
- Role — who the model is
- Context — what it needs to know
- Task — what to do
- Constraints — format, length, what to avoid
- Examples — at least one input/output pair when the format is non-trivial
