Who is this for?+
Working software engineers, data analysts, and CS students who want to add AI/ML skills. We assume comfort with at least one programming language. Pure beginners with no programming background should start with Brilliant or Khan Academy first.
How long does a path take?+
Most paths target 6–12 hours of total learning time, designed to fit ~15 minutes a day for 1–2 months. You can binge faster if you want.
Do I need an API key for anything?+
Not for the free path. Some Phase 2 features (Mira tutor, real model calls in advanced lessons) will use API keys we provide as part of the Pro plan.
How is progress saved?+
Right now, progress is saved in your browser (localStorage). Once we add accounts (Phase 2), you can sync across devices.
Why French/English mix sometimes?+
The platform is English-first. Some marketing copy may show in your locale. The lessons themselves are in English — the AI/ML field is English-coded and we want the vocabulary to match what you'll see at work.
How is this different from Brilliant or DataCamp?+
Brilliant nails interactive theory but doesn't teach you to deploy anything. DataCamp's UX is dated and weak on modern LLMs. We sit between them: interactive, practical, ship-focused.
Is this open source?+
The platform code is open source on GitHub. The lesson content is not — that part is what we're paid for.
Which AI certification is most worth pursuing in 2026?+
For most engineers in 2026, the Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer certification delivers the strongest signal-to-effort ratio — it covers the full production lifecycle from data preparation through model monitoring, and Google Cloud's ML tooling is widely used across the industry. The AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty is a close second if your stack is AWS-heavy. Before sitting either exam, work through our AI Engineering Foundations path to lock down the core concepts, then drill with the Google ML Engineer practice pack on CertQuests to sharpen test-day readiness. Pass rates improve significantly with timed mock exams — don't skip them.
